M-Geough Website Redesign
Established more than 70 years ago, M-Geough is a pioneer in the world of interior design. After years of providing their clients with excellent service and quality products, M-Geough wanted a new and improved website that would be modern yet classic.

M-Geough has been a leader in the world of interior design for nearly a century. Needless to say, it was truly an honor to redesign their website. They have been providing their clients with the best furnishings, lighting, fabrics, and wall-coverings for years. The problem was that even with a strong clientele and ideal reputation, they didn’t have a well-functioning website. Before this redesign, their website was just a simple page with an endless list of products paired with an unstructured navigation. We all agreed that we would start at the bottom and build an entirely new website for M-Geough.
Since M-Geough had to display numerous manufacturers on their site under which there would be thousands of products each, the sitemap and navigation were my prime focus. Therefore, my initial weeks on the project were spent proposing a new sitemap through which users would easily be able to explore and find the products they were looking for. This successfully addressed a major pain point for users using the old M-Geough website. Once the sitemap and proposed navigation was approved, I began wire-framing the actual site pages. When I finally reached the UI side of the design process, I wanted to give the website a modern and minimalistic yet traditional feel. M-Geough has such a beautiful history and I really wanted the website to reflect that through its design.
We were all thrilled with the end-result once the site was designed and live. M-Geough personally thanked me for designing a website that was keeping up with current trends yet reflected their values. It was one of the most heart-warming projects I have worked on till date.
